Client wanted to develop a system which can automate the complex manual process of patient enrolment and site allocation for multiple clinical trials, their vast exposure and understanding in clinical trial domain allowed them to flaws related to non accurate and insecure patient screening procedure. The manual procedure lagged in medical research from identifying the right match for clinical trials, After knowing our experience of developing a Hippa compliant EMR solution client approached us for;
- Writing an algorithm which can retrieve the accurate data from stringent inclusion and exclusion protocols and their criteria,
- Building a fully Hippa compliant solution without restricting the flow of patient information,
- A program that delivers 99.99% real-time analytics capabilities helping client to meet their enrolments timeline.
We developed a market ready product with full Hippa compliant algorithm and delivered a secured patient health data processing flow as per HL 7 messaging standards.
Coded data architecture that enabled exact match in patient enrolment procedure for clinical trials with ability to pull real time data – 99.99% real time data processing along with analytical capabilities was developed using following Microsoft SQL server capabilities,
Encrypted outbound – only HL7 interface setup for secure and real time data transfer of patient details.
Extracted data sent to identified (only accessible by the end customer) and de-identified servers
Imported data converted into a file and then matched
Once processed, the data is displayed as final results where patients are ranked graphically to provide quick and user-friendly visual format for selection
