Business Scenario

The client was a national health authority who wanted to make health services more accessible to nationals and residents and visitors. His primary goal was to implement a public healthcare information system that was collaborative and could be easily accessed by healthcare professionals, investors, and other stakeholders. The key client requirements included a bi-lingual platform (English/Arabic), easily manageable sub-sites, eCommerce functionality to enable purchase of health related items and equipment; a user friendly environment that made processes like license renewal, online payment more seamless and more importantly the client wanted to limit human intervention in the process.

Our Solution

We analyzed the client requirements and worked out a Microsoft SharePoint based centralized collaboration platform and tailored the back-end to suit client requirements like storing, updating and hospital information maintenance. We also gave the solution a shopping cart and integrated it with a payment gateway, English and Arabic language and also a Google Map to help users easily locate healthcare facilities.
